How does this connect to my Starlink Mini?

The converter is designed to work seamlessly with your Starlink Mini’s standard cable. You can then route the Starlink cable to wherever your dish is mounted or temporarily placed.

Outback Orbit is an independent Australian company — our products are not made or endorsed by Starlink. What we do offer is something Starlink doesn’t: a rugged, purpose-built solution tested in outback heat, corrugated roads, salt air, and storm winds. While using aftermarket products may affect Starlink’s warranty, our customers choose Outback Orbit because they need reliability in the toughest conditions, not just the standard “one-size-fits-all” hardware.

Is it safe for long runs / voltage drop?

Yes — heavy-gauge wiring and proper engineering reduce voltage drop. Make sure cable run lengths are within spec.

Can I use this with the Outback Orbit Mini Kit?

Is it weatherproof?

The kit is weatherproof, not submersible.


  • The converter module is IP67-rated, meaning it’s fully dustproof and protected against rain or splashes.

  • The fuse holder is also weather-sealed.

  • For best results, mount high and away from direct water exposure — like under a canopy, in a service bay, or behind an internal panel.

  • Avoid full immersion (e.g., submerging in floodwater or wash-downs).
